DIRECTIONS & EVENT SITES

Haines Park, indicated by the red marker on the map, it is on the corners of 3rd Ave & 6th St. Pl. SE in Altoona. Take exit #143 off Interstate 80, then turn south onto 1st Ave N into Altoona. Proceed for 1.3 miles. Then turn left/east onto 7th St SE for .1 mile. It is a very short distance and you will be at the park. The shelter house is on the backside of the park. Turn left and then right onto 6th St. Pl. SE. This will take you to the entrance and parking lot for the shelter house.
